Guangzhou: At least nine people were killed and two others sustained injuries after an operation platform collapsed at a power plant in south China`s Guangdong Province on Saturday.
Xinhua news agency quoted sources with the local government of the outer Conghua district as saying that the incident took place at No. 7 Thermal Power Plant in the provincial capital Guangzhou this morning.
The power plant, which is located in Conghua, is still under construction.The government has ordered a probe into the incident.
