London: British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton has denied reports of his engagement to American singer Nicole Scherzinger.
When asked whether there was any truth in the rumours, Hamilton said: “No, we are not engaged and there will be no wedding in the foreseeable future.”
“Nicole was incredibly upset when the newspapers claimed we were engaged,” he added.
The 26-year-old further said that he “lives, eats, sleeps and drinks” to win the Formula One championship title, a daily reports.
With 146 points, the McLaren driver is currently in fifth spot in the championship table.
He is 113 points behind reigning champion Sebastian Vettel (259).
