Indian music lovers are in for a treat this month, with boy band `Backstreet Boys` and rock singer Richard Marx set to perform here at the annual Rock `N India musical festival.

New Delhi: Indian music lovers are in for a treat this month, with boy band `Backstreet Boys` and rock singer Richard Marx set to perform here at the annual Rock `N India musical festival. `Backstreet Boys`, one of the most popular boy bands during the 90`s has 7 studio albums to date and has sold over 130 million records worldwide.
With hits like `Show Me the Meaning`, `Shape of My Heart`, they will be crooning as the headlining band at the festival, which begins in the the capital on February 20 and then moves onto Bengaluru. The group presently consists of Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, A J McLean and Howie Dorough after Kevin Richardson quit the band in 2006. The music festival, which has hosted rock bands like Megadeth, Iron Maiden and Machine Head in the past has shifted the tone of music this time, focusing on a wider range of fans, from mainstream to classic rock. The event which was held in Bengaluru in 2008 and 2009 will also let Delhi play host to the musical greats this time around. "Being committed to live music in the country, we have kept up our promises, due to long standing requests from fans all over the country for mainstream music and classic rock, we have adapted this line-up for the Romanov Red Rock`N India edition 3," T Venkat Vardhan, MD of DNA Networks said. "Delhi has also been added as a venue due to craving music fans in the capital," he added. PTI
