New Delhi: In a shocking development at Wimbledon, Pablo Cuevas not just hit a ball out of court but also threatened urinate in a can during a match.

On receiving a warning for the same, along with partner Marcel Granollers, he  held a sit-down protest, reports the BBC.

A code violation was handed to Cuevas after he threatened to urinate into a ball can. The happened after the umpire did not give him permission to visit the bathroom.

Cuevas also hit a ball out of court in frustration, which led to the pair being docked a point.

The duo then held a sit down protest and refused to participate in the final game.

The result of the match though did not go in their favour as Jonny Marray and Adil Shamasdin won the Monday's third-round match 6-3 4-6 6-4 3-6 14-12.
