Former champions Chelsea also win, at Hull City, to bring their season on the tract. But day's fixtures involving Sunderland-West Brom, Watford-Bournemouth and West Ham-Middlesbrough ended in draws.

Hull City 0 - 0 Chelsea: Dogged display from Hull City to deny Chelsea clear cut goal scoring opportunities. In fact, th lone attempt on goal came from Hull. And, it's already 20 minutes into the first half.


West Ham 0 - 0 Middlesbrough: Ten minutes into the first-half, and not much action.  But an early substitute for West Ham. Samuel Byram off, Alvaro Arbeloa on.

Swansea (Fer 8') 1 - 2 (55' Firmino, 84' Milner) Liverpool: The match ended with a flurry of Swanse attacks, but Liverpool managed to thwart each of those moves, and they returned deserved winners.

Two results so far from gameweek 7. Everton hold Crystal Palace 1-1 at home early morning today, and now Liverpool beat Swansea 2-1.

Swansea (Fer 8') 1 - 2 (55' Firmino, 84' Milner) Liverpool: PENALTY! Reds persistence paid off with Roberto Firmino earning a penalty, thanks to a foul inside the box from Angel Rangel.

And James Milner slotted from the spot. His third penalty goal this season.


Swansea (Fer 8') 1 - 1 (55' Firmino) Liverpool: GOAL!  A lucky one for Liverpool. From some 25 yards, a free-kick from Philippe Coutinho hit the wall, deflecting towards Jordan Henderson, who had a go at the goal. But it was Roberto Firmino, who headed home the goal.


Swansea (Fer 8') 1 - 0 Liverpool: It's still Liverpool which is dominating the proceedings at Liberty Stadium, but the home side will be happy to just hang on there, after taking that that early lead.



In the day's first kick-off, Liverpool travel to Swansea. Then, there will be West Ham vs Middlesbrough, Hull City vs Chelsea, Sunderland vs West Brom, and  Watford vs Bournemouth.
