Pic courtesy: @neilnitinmukesh Mumbai: Soon after SS Rajamouli’s first half of the two-part magnum opus Baahubali released in 2015, Telugu superstar Prabhas became a household name across the country. And after the second-half hit the silverscreen in 2017, he became a national icon of sorts.
In Baahubali: The Conclusion, Prabhas essayed Amarendra Baahubali, a character, every woman had adored. His character exhibited traits that every woman wishes for in her husband. Thus, as Amarendra Baahubali, Prabhas made women go weak in the knees.
His Saaho co-star Neil Nitin Mukesh is equally in awe of him.
Recently, during an interview with Hindustan Times, Neil, while expressing his admiration for the Baahubali superstar said, “Prabhas is one of the nicest and sweetest people I’ve ever met. He’s so simple and down to earth. The excitement of meeting him just multiplies by many manifolds because he has no attitude.”
“The way he meets common people is so heart-warming. You will not hear him ever raise his voice at anybody. There’s no tantrum. He’s a great human being and that reflects in his fan following, too,” Neil added.
Despite being so immensely popular, Prabhas throws no starry tantrums or exhibits starlike attitude.
“The saying, ‘Once the tree start bearing fruits, it bows down to earth,’ describes him aptly,” Neil said.
No wonder why Prabhas has such a mammoth fan following.
Neil is on board Sujeeth Reddy’s futuristic actioner which also stars Shraddha Kapoor. The film is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and is expected to be released in Tamil too.
Saaho also stars Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday and Jackie Shroff.
