The Met Gala 2021 has created a buzz online as celebrities from different fields sported stunning red carpet looks. The event took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner graced the event, which also saw sports stars assembling at the arena for the first time. Latest tennis sensation Emma Raducanu, who just won her first US Open at a young age of 18, also graced the event. Apart from her Serena Williams, her sister Venus, Maria Sharapova were among the other tennis stars, who were also present at the event.

The 18-year-old scripted history when she became the first ever qualifier – in men’s or women’s tennis – to win a Grand Slam event. Soon after achieving the feat, the teenager made her debut on the Met Gala red carpet.
During the event, the 18-year-old wore a printed monochrome separates from Chanel’s Resort 2022 collection, with a pearl belt at the waist.
