Volkswagen, the German auto brand has unveiled the ID.7, the brand’s first global electric model for the upper mid-size class. With a combination of ranges up to 700 kilometres (WLTP), superior powertrain, spacious interior and premium technologies, the ID.7 becomes the flagship sedan for the brand, acting as a comfortable limousine for long distance travel. Almost five metres long, it joins the ID.3, ID.Buzz among other cars the the ID. range which will get 10 cars by 2026, all electric. The ID.7 launch is planned for this year in Europe and China, and from 2024 in North America.

The Volkswagen ID.7 is almost five metres long and has a drag coefficient of about 0.23 depending.
The new ID.7 is one of ten new electric models that will be launched by Volkswagen by 2026 and joins ID.3, ID. Buzz, ID. 2 among others.
It gets a new operating and display concept with a 38-centimetre (15-inch) infotainment system screen.
It also gets augmented reality head-up display, a new air conditioning operating concept integrated on the top level of the infotainment system and a backlit touch slider.
Depending on the battery sizes, the ID.7 is predicted to have a WLTP range of up to 700 kilometres and charging capacities of up to about 200 kW will be possible.
