International Day for Monuments and Sites 2022: 10 UNESCO World Heritage sites to visit in India

World Heritage Day or International Day for Monuments and Sites is celebrated annually on April 18.

The day is promoted by the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) globally. ICOMOS aims to promote the conservation, protection, use and enhancement of heritage monuments, building complexes and sites.
