Try to avoid stress as much as possible. Things that cannot be changed don't deserve attention and heartburn.
Regular sleeping habit is very important. Remember, rest is as important as exercising. Rest rejuvenates the brain. As the old saying goes, "early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and WISE".
Eat fresh, natural food and freshly cooked food. You should cut down on preserved or processed foods.
Excessive alcohol consumption is terrible for the brain. If at all, you should have alcohol in moderation - maximum, you can have two small drinks, twice a week.
Do not smoke, or use tobacco or other intoxicants. This is poison for the brain.
It is important to do regular exercise at least 5 to 6 times a week. Stretching, deep breathing, and meditation are important.
Have a hobby different from the profession. This is a tonic for the brain.
