A senior Egyptian official believes 'Tom and Jerry' could, or in fact are, spreading violence!
Salah Abdel-Sadek, head of the State Information Service, affiliated with the Egyptian presidency, has blamed Tom and Jerry for allegedly spreading a culture of violence.
He said at an event on 'violence' that video games and cartoons are to blame.
According to Abdel-Sadek, Tom Cat and Jerry Mouse "beat and blow up with explosives" one another and "in their minds, they see this as normal."
