 "Training programme on research starts at Central University of Kashmir")
Image courtesy: CUK Srinagar: A 10-day training programme on Research Methodology in Social Sciences kicked-off at the Central University of Kashmir (CUK) on Monday.
The training programme was inaugurated by Professor Muhammad Aslam, Director, Research and Development, Central University of Kashmir.
The programme has been organised by the Department of Economics and is being sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Aslam said yesterday that the university has been trying to produce quality researchers and research, aimed at the contributing to the overall development of the society.
“The research conducted by the scholars of CUK shall have to be for public consumption and necessarily have to make a difference to the society,” he said, as per Kashmir Reader.
