 "Mehbooba in Delhi, to meet PM Modi on Saturday")
New Delhi/Srinagar: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti arrived in the capital on Friday evening and is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday to discuss the situation in the Kashmir Valley.
Government sources in Srinagar and Delhi confirmed that Mehbooba would be meeting Modi at his official 7 Race Course Road.
The meeting comes two days after Home Minister Rajnath Singh`s two-day Kashmir trip failed to cut ice with separatist leaders spearheading the violent unrest triggered by the July 8 killing of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani.
The unrest has left 70 people dead and crippled life in the valley.
