Furthermore, majority of Yadavs, who make up a substantial portion of population in Bihar, will side with the Grand Alliance.

Over 50% of Yadavs votes will go in favour of JD(U)-RJD, followed by around 43% votes to the NDA and 4% to others, survey stated.

65% votes of Forward class will go to the NDA and 30% to the GSA, the survey added.

The Dalits and Mahadalits, who are considered a major vote bank of RJD and JD(U) leaders and constitute 16% of the population, may switch sides this time and go with the NDA.

As per the survey, NDA will have 57% of Dalits and Mahadalits vote share, followed by Grand Alliance with 36%.

On the same lines, majority of Kurmis, who constitute 4% of the total population, will go for the NDA.

The survey projects that the NDA and JD(U)-RJD are running neck-to-neck over Adivasi vote share.

The survey sample was created through random sampling at Assembly constituency level for all the 243 assembly seats. Approximately 10 lakh people from Bihar were approached in this round of survey.
