New Delhi: A medium intensity earthquake measuring 3 on the Richter scale hit Assam tonight.
According to National Centre for Seismology, the quake occurred at 8:44 PM at a depth of 10 km with its epicenter in Sonitpur.
There were no immediate reports of loss of property and life.
