The venue of the rally is new DC football ground. 

Those who hail from areas like Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung, Mon, Phek, Tuensang, Wokha, Zunheboto, Peren, Kiphire and Longleng can take part in it. The recruitment is for positions line soldier general duty, soldier technical, soldier nursing assistant, soldier clerk/storekeeper and soldier tradesman among others. 

Candidates who wish to apply should be 10/10+2 passed or should have an equivalent qualification from a recognised board. Soldier general duty should be between 17½- 21 years of age and should be tenth pass with 33% (each subject must contain 32%).

For soldier tech, candidates need to be between 17½-23 years of age and they should be 10+2 pass with 50% marks (each subject must have 40% marks) with Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

Soldier nursing assistant/tech should be between 17½-23 years of age and should be 10+2 pass (50% marks - each subject must have 40% marks) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Also, there are certain physical requirements that have to be fulfilled in terms of height, chest, weight and so on. Plus, candidates should have a valid admit card and they must have identity proof with them like Aadhaar card and PAN card. among other requirements.
