 "Bhopal jail stamps minors' faces as they visit father")
File photo New Delhi: Two children were imprinted on their faces with an entry seal while they visited their father who has been lodged in the Bhopal Central Jail in Madhya Pradesh.
The incident took place on Monday.
The faces of the minors, who were accompanied by their mother on their visit to the Bhopal jail, were reportedly stamped by the jail authorities so that they can be differentiated from the children of the woman inmates.
Apparently, the authorities tried to restrict their entry into the jail premises.
Following the incident, the Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission sought a report from the Director General of Prisons, reported India Today.
"We will investigate the matter and take action against officials responsible for the same," said Madhya Pradesh Jail Minister Kusum Mehdele.
