West Bengal Exit Poll Results 2024: A total of 42 constituencies went into polling in all seven phases of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, starting from April 19 to June 1. Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress Party is aiming to maintain its control in the state's politics and avoid a repeat of the 2019 parliamentary election results, where the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) secured 18 seats.

8.35 PM: Today's Chanakya Predicts Edge For BJP Against TMC

As per Today's Chanakya, BJP may win 24 ± 5 Seats in Bengal while the TMC may win 17 ± 5 Seats and Congress+ 1 ± 1 Seats.

8.15 PM: BJP To Gain Seats In Bengal: C-Voter

As per the C-Voter Exit Poll 2024, the BJP may win 23-27 seats in West Bengal while the Congress may bag 1-3 seats and the TMC 13-17 seats.

7.55PM: CNX Predicts Boost For BJP

As per CNX, BJP may win 22-26 seats in Bengal while the TMC may win around 14-18 seats. The BJP had won 18 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls in the state.

7.40 PM: R-Bharat-Matrize Gives Edge To BJP In Bengal

The Republic Bharat-Matrize exit poll has given clear edge to the BJP. The exit poll gave 21-25 seats to the BJP and 16-20 seats to the TMC. INDIA bloc may get 0-1 seats.

6.47PM: BJP, TMC May Share Equal Seats

As per the School of politics, the BJP may win around 19-23 seats while the ruling TMC may also win around 19-23 seats.

6.32PM: School Of Politics Predice Neck and Neck Fight Between the BJP, TMC

The exit poll by the school of politics has predicted a neck and neck fight between the ruling TMC and the BJP for the 42 Lok Sabha seats.

6.05PM: TMC Spokesperson Refuses To Predict Seat Share

While speaking to the Zee News, TMC spokesperson said that the ruling party has contested the polls with full might and it will improve its seat tally. He however, refused to make a prediction for the seats asking the people to wait till June 4.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP secured 18 seats, the AITC (TMC) obtained 22 seats, and the Indian National Congress (INC) won 2 seats.  The BJP has been aggressively campaigning in Bengal and the recent incident of Sandeshkhali has given the saffron party another weapon to counter the ruling TMC. 

The campaigning period in the state witnessed intense confrontations among the TMC, BJP, and the Left-Congress alliance. The TMC's opponents focused heavily on anti-corruption themes. Meanwhile, the BJP opted to bash the Banerjee administration over the Sandeshkhali incident and the mistreatment of women in the state.
