In Karnataka, political parties are becoming more competitive ahead of the Assembly elections. The Karnataka Assembly elections are less than a week away, and all the political parties are doing all in their power to win the vote. A day after the Bharatiya Janata Party announced its election pledges, the Congress Party released its election manifesto on Tuesday. The manifesto was unveiled in Bengaluru in the presence of party leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Dr. Parameshwaraji, and former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramiah. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak at three electoral rallies on Wednesday in Mudabidre, Ankola, and Baihongal and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the general secretary of the Congress, will hold two rallies and a roadshow in the state. Karnataka will go to the polls on May 10, and the counting of votes will take place on May 13.

'People Of Karnataka Will Reject Gaali politics', Claims PM Modi

PM Modi claimed that the opposition was participating in "gaali politics" when speaking to a crowd in Ankola, and he asserted that the people of Karnataka will reject "this politics of abuse." "The opposition only understands 'Gaali politics'. They mistreat us because they can't defeat us. The voters will teach Congress a lesson for mistreating me because the people of Karnataka reject abusive politics," he remarked.

'BJP Has Looted Rs 1.5 Crores...', Alleges Priyanka Gandhi

At a rally today, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi claimed that the BJP government had looted Rs 1.5 lakh crore from Karnataka. "They (the BJP) have looted Karnataka of Rs 1.5 lakh crore over the past three and a half years." With that money, they could have erected 30 lakh low-income homes, 30,000 smart classrooms, and 100 AIIMS hospitals. She was cited by the news agency ANI as stating, "Today they cannot discuss your issues in front of you, so every day they raise some new issue that has nothing to do with your development."
