New Delhi: There was a time in Bollywood when only tried and tested on-screen pairings would work well for the makers. But now like a new wave in Indian cinema, old norms have given way to new ones.

According to a report published in Pinkvilla.com, a fresh pair of Shahid Kapoor and Katrina Kaif might be seen sharing the screen space soon. The report further states that director Anees Bazmee had revealed earlier that the sequel to his film 'Aankhen' would be rolled out soon, and the casting would be fresh.

'Aankhen' was made in 2002 and had Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sushmita Sen, Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal in important roles. With Sasha and Kat together, it would really be interesting to see how well their on-screen chemistry works!
