Parineeti-Raghav Wedding Updates Parineeti Chopra Raghav Chadha Wedding Updates: The much-talked-about and high-profile wedding of celebrity couple Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha finally took place on September 24 in the picturesque city of Udaipur. The star-studded grand wedding ceremonies have been attended by several influential figures from the B-Town and political circuit including Priyanka Chopra's mother Madhu Chopra, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, AAP's Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh, actor Bhagyashree among others.
On Sunday morning, the festivities kicked off with Parineeti's 'chooda' ceremony at the opulent Maharaja Suite, just before the wedding ceremony. This was followed by the 'shehrabandi', 'Baraat' procession and 'Jaimala'. The Pheras took place with the sun setting in the background. The couple made sure to hide their wedding looks from the shutterbugs using giant umbrellas and sheets. Boats were used to carry baraatis from the Taj Lake Palace to The Leela Palace, where the main wedding ceremony was held.
On Saturday, the couple had a Haldi ceremony in the morning, which was followed by a hearty welcome lunch named 'Blooms and Bites.' Former tennis player Sania Mirza, fashion designer Manish Malhotra, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra, actress Bhagyashree and her husband graced the wedding with their presence. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh, and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray attended the wedding ceremony in Udaipur.
However, Parineet's cousin Priyanka Chopra and filmmaker Karan Johar skipped the wedding ceremony.
Parineeti and Raghav exchanged the rings in a private ceremony on May 13 at Kapurthala House in New Delhi in the presence of their loved ones. The star-studded engagement ceremony was attended by several politicians, including Delhi CM Kejriwal, Punjab CM Mann, former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram, and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray. As per media years, the couple knew each other for several years before they began dating.
It all started with Anushka Sharma and then the trend continued with bollywood actresses who ditched the tradition red lehenga and opted for softer, lighter shades.
