Pic courtsey: ANI New Delhi: As Delhi is reeling under an intense heat wave with temperatures shooting up beyond 40 degrees mark, commuters can now heave a sigh of relief as a bus stand in south Delhi has been equipped with the air-conditioning facility.
The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus stand is located on the Ring Road at Lajpat Nagar.
The AC has been installed by a Japanese multinational air conditioner manufacturing company.
A government official said that the company has installed the AC in cooperation with a private agency which has the advertisement right on DTC's bus stands.
The Delhi government in collaboration with Daikin India under a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) made the task happen, reported Financial Express.
