 "Police detain J&K cricketers who wore Pakistani jersey, sang anthem before match")
New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir cricketers, who were recently seen wearing Pakistani jersey and singing Pakistan's national anthem during a cricket match, have been detained.
According to ANI, the club cricketers, who triggered a massive controversy with their gesture, have been detained. They were said to be absconding after the incident.

The match was played at Wayil playground in central Kashmir on April 2 when separatists had called for a bandh to protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir to inaugurate the Chenani-Nashri tunnel.

The team members also sang the Pakistani national anthem before the start of the match.
The team that wore the Pakistani green is named after Baba Darya Ud Din, a popular saint whose shrine is situated in Ganderbal.
