Mumbai: As one of the most awaited films of 2012 is nearing its release, fans and critics are raring to grab their tickets- perhaps first day’s first show! And why wouldn’t they when it’s Salman Khan and Yash Raj banner’s first venture together.
‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is getting ready to hit the silver screen on August 15 and promotional events are on full swing. Salman Khan wants his former ladylove and co-star Katrina Kaif by his side during the promotional campaigns and this has in turn put Yash Raj in a dilemma.
Katrina had to join the cast and crew of ‘Dhoom 3’ for a Chicago shoot schedule kick starting on August 3, but as Salman insisted on having her for ETT promotion, Yash Raj had to give in to his demand.
Hence, Katrina will be joining the ‘Dhoom 3’ cast once she is done with ETT.
Talking to a daily, YRF spokesperson and Katrina`s business manager said, “She will join the cast and crew of Dhoom 3, who are leaving for Chicago in the first week of August, only later. Reason being she has to be there for ‘Ek Tha Tiger`s’ promotions, with the film releasing in the second week of August.”
“However, since Salman has specifically mentioned they will do joint promotions, nothing much can be done except pushing Katrina`s ‘Dhoom 3’ dates ahead. And since both are YRF films, the makers too are in a spot and have agreed to Salman`s demands,” said a source.
