Los Angeles: Hollywood actress Halle Berry`s ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, is asking for a monthly payment of USD 20,000 for child support.
Aubry and Berry are currently fighting a bitter custody battle over their 4-year-old daughter Nahla.
In addition to the monthly payment of USD 20,000, Aubry 36, also wants half a million in attorney`s fees from Berry, 45, reported TMZ Online.
The Canadian model was in court on Thursday regarding his appeal for an increase in child support, but his paperwork wasn`t filled out properly.
Sources said Aubry believes he is entitled to the money because he needs a proper environment to care for Nahla.
The former couple started dating in 2005 and Berry gave birth to their daughter in 2008.
Aubry split up with the "Gothika" actress in 2010 as the former felt the two did not spend enough time together.
