Washington: Larry King, who had retired from hosting his famous talk show ‘Larry King Live’, is set to make a comeback in a new online programming venture funded by the world’s richest man Carlos Slim.
King, 78, will start up a new daily talk show later this year for a website. The new service, backed by Mexican communications billionaire Slim, will provide programming for tablets, cellphones, computers and Internet-connected TVs.
No date has been set for when the service will become available. The company says it has other programs besides King’s in development, but wouldn’t discuss them.
