Mumbai: She may have claimed that she deserves a Bharat Ratna for posing nude in Playboy Magazine, but Bollywood starlet Sherlyn Chopra admits that posing without clothese was “not easy.”
Sherlyn is the first Indian to pose nude for the iconic magazine. She recently flew to US and shot for the same at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy mansion.
Speaking about the entire experience to BBC Hindi, Sherlyn said, “I would not miss the opportunity of posing nude for the world`s most established adult magazine".
"It is not an easy task to be nude in front of the camera and look good at the same time," Ms Chopra added.
So, how did she manage to get the plump offer? Sherlyn had approached the magazine expressing her desire to pose for them and they replied to her "within three to four days".
"I have become the first Indian to pose naked for Playboy and nobody can take away that achievement from me," Chopra said proudly.
"My sister is proud of my achievement. I haven`t told anything to my mother, but I think I will visit her and tell her that she has to accept me the way I am," Sherlyn added.
Sherlyn also recalled her meeting with Hefner as a ‘fun meeting’. "I had fun meeting him and his girlfriends. I am thinking of making him my idol because he lives his life on his terms and conditions. I also live my life on my terms and conditions," Chopra said.
The issue containing Sherlyn’s photographs will be out in November. Playboy is not available in India but that won’t stop Sherlyn’s fans from accessing her nude pictures through the Internet.
