Shruti Hassan to make TV debut in music show

Mumbai: Actress-musician Shruti Hassan is all set to make her TV debut in a new music-based show directed by ‘Shaitan’ ditrector Bejoy Nambiar. The show `MTV Rush` is a 13 part film series and will be aired on MTV from July 15. In one of the show`s episodes, superstar Kamal Hassan`s daughter will be seen performing her original compositions on stage at a concert. "When Bejoy approached me with the concept of the show I absolutely loved it. I am extremely thrilled about being part of MTV Rush, where viewers will see me perform one of my original compositions. I had a fabulous time shooting for it and now I can`t wait to see how it is been incorporated in the show," Shruti said. The actress was last seen in `Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji` last year. She has also been signed on to star in actor-turned-director Prabhu Deva`s next film. PTI
